DJ’s Doggie Delivery is a women-founded, owned, and operated business that was born from a deep love for animals and a passion for travel. What began as DJ’s personal mission to ensure pets could journey safely and joyfully soon became something bigger when her good friend Darlene joined the adventure. With a proven track record of helping businesses grow and thrive, Darlene brought invaluable experience and energy to the team. We were beyond thrilled to have her become part of our family.
Together, we’ve built a service we’re incredibly proud of—one that puts the safety, comfort, and happiness of pets (and their humans!) at the center of everything we do. The standards we’ve set are high, and we’re committed to maintaining them every step of the way to ensure your pet travels with the same love and attention they receive at home.

Hi there! I’m DJ—an Army brat born in Germany, which means travel has always been a big part of my life. Growing up, we were always on the move, and we always had pets along for the ride. That love for both animals and adventure has stayed with me ever since.
I’m a proud Aggie (you’ll often find me repping maroon and white) and studied Geography at Texas A&M University. After college, I made the move to beautiful Colorado—if you’ve ever been, you’ll know exactly why. I began a career in the corporate world but soon realized I was craving something more meaningful. That desire led me to create DJ’s Doggie Delivery.
Along the way, I met the most amazing human—Bob. He shares my love for animals and often lends a hand with the business. We’re the proud pet parents of three very spoiled dogs: Mia, Pepper, and Josie, our beloved fur babies.
It’s my absolute passion to make sure your pet’s travel experience is as safe, seamless, and joyful as possible. I can’t wait to get to know you and your four-legged companion!

My name is Darlene Vetere, I’m blessed to be working alongside Darann and supporting her vision for DJ’s Doggie Delivery. Her deep love for pets and family made it an easy and heartfelt decision to be part of a service built by and for kind-hearted people.
I’m a proud mom to two amazing kids: Adriana, a talented financial analyst, and Johnny, who’s heading off to college this fall.
As a small business consultant, I’ve spent years helping launch boutique ventures, while finding peace and purpose through family farming — everything from assisting my family to raise puppies to horses.
My heart has always belonged to animals; they bring peace to the soul and embody unconditional love.
